OF BUFFET AND ALA CARTE
Remember when I told you about the motivational course I attended last weekend?
It was in Swiss Garden Resort and Spa Hotel.
I was on my way out the restaurant after choosing my food at the buffet table, thinking how I would enjoy eating it outdoor when I was stopped by the waiter.
Waiter: "Excuse me sir, you cannot eat outside if you take your food from the buffet"
I was perplexed and bewildered:" Why not?"
Waiter: "You see Sir, the tables outside are meant for guests who order their dinner ala carte."
Akula: "Are you serious? You mean I cannot eat my buffet food outside?"
Waiter: "Yes Sir, that's right."
I was getting annoyed and pissed off.
Akula : " Fine. I want to speak to your F&B Manager"
Waiter: "But why sir?" he said in a calm voice.
Akula : " Just get me you damn Manager"
Waiter: "He's not around, Sir"
Akula : "WTF! Look! I am going outside with my food, and I will eat my dinner, after that, I will light and enjoy my cigarettes. In the mean time you can call the police, RELA, Bomba, SMART TEAM and whoever else you could think off. And you are wasting your time arguing this with me. Maybe you better start calling them now."
I went outside.
(*Sigh* 9 straight hours of course programmes and a hungry stomach really made me mad.)
I don't feel motivated at all.
I wrote a complain note to the Hotel Management.
"I demand your hotel to reconsider this discriminatory and apartheid policy of separating buffet and ala carte patrons. We "the buffet" customers should be given the choice to eat our food anywhere, be it in the restaurant or outside if we wish too."
"P.S. Your hotel sucks!"

It's true what they say. Never argue with a hungry man :)
Good thing you're having the buffet. Otherwise they'd have put 'additives' to your grub....
Bangang with a capital B. Buang masa aje being in the service industry - whoever the ngok is who came up with that policy.
