KEDAH VS PERLIS, FA CUP FINAL.
I made a bad decision to go back to KL from Sungai Petani yesterday's evening. Usually if I travel, I will browse through the Internet or the newspaper to see if there is any big event going on. And if there is, I will postpone my travel or delay it.
The reason is I dont want to be caught in a traffic jam. I am not a patience man. Patience is the ability to wait without complaining and I am definately not that.
And I got stuck. I knew that there is Kedah and Perlis FA cup final scheduled to be held in Batu Kawan Stadium, Penang. I was so stupid to think that Batu Kawan is in the island, not in the mainland. Obviously, the fans were on the right course, heading there, with me among them. Had I figured it out, I could easily avoided the traffic jam by delaying my return for a few hours.
I was caught in a traffic jam for 1 hour entering Sungai Dua toll plaza and another one right before Juru toll plaza all the way to the Batu Kawan exit for another 2 excruciating hours.
I did wonder about what the hell are highways for? To make life easier? Balik kampung during raya or other holidays are really stressfull. Last raya, my sister took about 16 hours instead of the normal 5 hours from KL to Sungai Petani.
Kedah won the match for the record.
Yeah, yeah, its my own fault.

OMG! Kita satu kampong la..well, my parents' kampong actually. I just came back from Sg Petani too! Jam was quite bad coz there were about 3 accidents along the way.

the route i took from alor setar to KL during the weekend was free from congestion, traffic or otherwise.
i'd stay at home without food, water and cellphones if going out means going through traffic congestion, i'd rather starve n die alone. so i feel u, man.
